ACADEMIC INTERNSHIPS OFFERED FOR
FALL / WINTER / SPRING / SUMMER SEMESTERS
Description:
Our public relations agency, located in Beachwood, Ohio,
offers an internship opportunity to college students
seeking advanced knowledge in the field of public relations.
Interns will be involved with all types of projects,
including developing press packets, creating media lists
(print, radio and television), writing and editing press
releases and media advisories, performing background
research, disseminating information, maintaining news
clip books, and coordinating and staffing special events.
Interns will also design informational materials such
as flyers, brochures, posters, signs and other related
material. Intern should also be willing to assist in
other duties, as assigned to support clients and business.
Requirements:
Students must be in good academic standing (minimum
3.0 GPA at time of application). Students must be currently
enrolled in as a junior, senior or graduate student
majoring in public relations, communications, journalism,
or marketing. Must have excellent oral (public speaking)
and written communication skills. Must be computer literate
in Word, Excel and internet usage. Knowledge of knowledge
of desktop publishing and graphic design software a
plus. Time requirement is 20 hours per week (interns
can create their own work schedule to accommodate class/work
schedule).
Miscellaneous:
Flexible hours are offered. Position is unpaid. Candidates
must be enrolled in appropriate collegiate internship
program to allow student to earn academic credit or
course points in lieu of financial compensation.
